Fish Tacos, Clam Chowder, 74 Students and it all begins......

Today was my first lecture of the trip. I had the great privilege  of spending the morning in Santa ana at the Calvary Chapel School of Worship.

74 students today. Had a great time with them. Lots of conversation after the lecture. I have to say they were great and I enjoyed sharing stories with them and looking at how mission and worship are intrinsically connected. The students were a credit to the school and I hope we get to work with some of them in the future.

It's always a good sign when you run out of resources after the lecture and also when a students applies on line to join a band during the lecture.....lol

Sue and the kids have had fun spending time with our friends from Lochwinnoch who now live in SoCal, the Milne's. This is where I said goodbye to them as they headed off to the beach to surf while I headed to work!!

Joel took about 30 seconds to adapt to his new surroundings! ; )
He's got a cool 70's vibe going on right now. Love him. Still no american accents kicking in but all my kids announced yesterday that we need to 'move here as soon as possible' ; )

I am in Laguna Beach right now having a bowl of clam chowder on my way back to my family in Encinitas where we will spend the night.

Yesterday I had fish tacos on the 101 Coast Highway and they were great.

I am a big big fan of seafood so will be making the most of the living by the ocean for the next 2 weeks.

Have a great weekend everyone
